Seeking to Please God, Learning to Love Well

This is a lesson I deeply desire to grow in—and one I suspect takes a lifetime to fully learn.

When we seek to honor God above all, He frees us from our self-reliant ways and teaches us to look to Him, enabling us to love Him and seek the true good of others. It’s a grace-driven journey in which we learn the humbling lesson that dependence upon God is essential to loving well. But when pleasing people becomes our first concern, we neither love God nor people well.

With this valuable insight in mind, let’s love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength—and entrust the results to Him.
