You and I are not the Christ.

Even John the Baptist, whom Jesus said, “among those born of women no one greater than John the Baptist has appeared,” proclaimed that he was not the Christ (Matthew 11:11; Jn 1:19-20).

Jesus was 💯 fully God, and 💯 fully human. Why is this so important?

As #GoodFriday draws near, think upon the immense love of God which stepped into our place, adding upon Himself humanity, and doing what we are unable to do: save ourselves. Only Jesus is the long-awaited Messiah (Christ). And only God is God.
