“He who thinks half-heartedly will not believe in God; but he who really thinks has to believe in God.”

Friends, when we examine the evidence God has provided, we are utilizing the minds God has given us. We can be confident that if we earnestly seek Truth, we will find Him. Truth transcends our opinions (Truth is true no matter our opinions of Him), but engages us in relationship— by entering the world He created to save us. We can know this to be a fact by studying history. And we can examine the evidence.

Our hope isn’t dependent upon our emotional highs and God’s love isn’t determined by the ease of our circumstances. Our hope is grounded in the work Jesus has accomplished on our behalf (1 Cor 15), and God’s love isn’t demonstrated by the same.

Lean into the facts and allow your emotions to follow. Not the other way around.
