Friends, it’s not unkind to test quotes and claims. It’s what we are supposed to do (Acts 17:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:21; 1 John 4:1-4). We just need to be gracious and respectful in the process of testing claims.
By reading the original source documents and then putting those teachings alongside the Scriptures for testing, you will grow in discerning truth from lies (as Spurgeon said, “Right from almost right”).
